Travis Armstrong (Coach Army)

For the past 20 years, Travis “Army” Armstrong has been involved in competitive hockey.
Travis started young, playing hockey in a small town near Ottowa, Ontario. He progressed to AA and AAA as he grew into his teens, followed by four seasons of Junior Hockey, including three in the CCHL (then known as the CJHL).
After Junior Hockey, Travis explored his options at the Collegiate level. He played four full
years at Finlandia University in Hancock, Michigan (NCAA Div III).
In his time there, he was widely regarded as a strong leader, being named assistant captain his sophomore season and team captain in both of his last two seasons there.
Graduating with a Sports Management degree in 2015, Travis has since played Professional Hockey in the SPHL and ECHL. Most notably, he attended the Toronto Marlies training camp at the
beginning of the 2017 season.
Coach “Army” joined the Canadian Professional Hockey Schools family in the Spring of 2015 and has proven to be a valuable asset to our team. He brings a high level of hockey knowledge and experience, as well as drive to develop players to prepare them for the higher levels of competition.

“I understand it’s not easy knowing which hockey camp is best for your child. I know there are now so many to choose from and it can make your decision difficult, however, I am here to make that decision a little easier! Here at CPHS we deliver PASSION, INSPIRATION and we WILL IMPACT each and every player that we work with. It is my goal to ensure that every participant remembers our camp forever. Our Goal Scoring program focuses on developing players by teaching new skills along with learning to become a better teammate but most importantly, we want every participant to have FUN!.”
